- Information you provide: vehicle type, year and make, insurance status, ZIP code, name, email, and (optionally) mobile phone number, plus your consent choices.
- Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and campaign/tracking parameters, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Consent records: the date, time, page, and exact consent language you agreed to. These may include a third-party consent certificate.
How we use information
- To provide the Service and connect you with insurance comparison options.
- To send text messages you opted in to receive, and to honor opt-out requests.
- To prevent fraud, secure the Site, and comply with law.
- To measure and improve our marketing and the Site.
How we share information
- With Partners, only if you choose to: If you check the optional partner-consent box, we share your request and contact details with the Partners listed in our Partner disclosure so they can contact you about quotes. Clicking through to a Partner site also sends the information in your link (for example vehicle type and ZIP) to that Partner.
- Service providers who host the Site, send messages, or help us operate, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Service.
SMS / mobile information
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as messaging platforms) that help us deliver the messaging program. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts: reply STOP. Opt out of Partner calls: tell the caller, or email support@motowyn.com.
- Browser cookies can be controlled in your browser settings.
- Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" of your personal information. Email support@motowyn.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data retention & security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal obligations, including consent records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
